kid workingEvery year, Think Small collects valuable information about all licensed child care programs in the metro area on behalf of the Department of Human Services. This provides the most up to date information for:

  • Offers the most current details about your child care program to families using www.ParentAware.org.
  • Helps connect you with the hundreds of families who request referrals each month through our free, statewide referral service.
  • Provides data that directly influences Minnesota’s child care policies, trainings, program support and the maximum reimbursement rates in the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP).

It’s important to have the most up to date information on all programs, and it also crucial in helping match families to programs that best meet their individual needs, an important variable to best serve young children.

It’s crucial that we receive an update about your program. You can respond in three different ways. All programs will receive an update in the mail to be filled out and returned. You can complete the survey online, at childcareawaremn.org.  Or call 651-641-0332 to complete the survey over the phone.

Additionally, providers that complete the survey by February 26th will be entered into a drawing for fabulous prizes, including tools and toys for your child care.
