This report is the second to be produced from the Evaluation of Parent Aware being conducted by Child Trends and funded by the Minnesota Early Learning Foundation (MELF). It covers 18 months of the pilot from July, 2008 through December, 2009, and is part of the process evaluation of the program.1 A final report from the evaluation will be available in October, 2010 which will provide an analysis of the measurement tools and rating process used in Parent Aware, changes in quality among Parent Aware-rated programs, parents‘ perceptions of quality and knowledge of Parent Aware, and the school readiness of children participating in Parent Aware-rated programs.
